Birthdays

Yes, it has been a while ago that I posted some news. Because of the death of my mother I was not so in the mood to write news about the family. But I'll try to write again about the family.

As the title tells you we have had some birthdays.
Robert birthday was on the 21st of April and it was very unfortunate this year because it was in the week that my mother had passed away.
So, poor Robert! We couldn't give him a BIG party. But he understood and we still decided to celebrate it in a small way.
Because Robert only becomes 11 once, right?
So, the family came by and we had some cake and that's it.

Soon we will have his party for his friends from school.
We had to cancel that party too.

Maaike celebrated her birthday as well.
At the 12th of May she became 7!
She's a big girl now. We had a party for the close family on friday and even a BIGGER party on saturday. And last week she had her party for all her friends. So her room is full with presents and more presents.
