Birthday Robert but important soccer match first

Today it is Robert's birthday. He is already 12 years old. Big boy!

But first in the (very) early morning Robert had to play a very important match.
Robert's soccerteam BSC D7 had to play against the number one of the junior league, Gastel.
Robert's team D7 is second with 2 points less than Gastel.
So if they beat Gastel Robert's team BSC D7 will be first and with one match to go after this one they might become champion. . .
The match was like a movie thriller but then better.
My throat was soar from all the screaming after the match.
First Gastel took the lead with 0-1, and then 0-2. We all thought this is the end!
But then BSC made 1-2 and then even 2-2.
And just before half time: 3-2 ! In the half time I promised the boys candies because of Robert's birthday if they will win! After half time it became 3-3 and Gastel pressed to make another goal. But then BSC got stronger with more chances. And then BSC D7 made the goal just before the end: 4-3! Hurrah! What a match!



After the match the boys in de the dressingroom sang a birthday song for Robert!

So next saturday will be the final deciding match: if BSC D7 wins they are champion; the trainer promised cake if they win, the soccer club promised soda;s and french fries if they win! We'll see!
